Eligibility for Southern Railway Recruitment 2017-18
Education Qualification
Sportsperson: The applicants should be 12th pass and/or graduate from a recognized board/institute. Must have adequate knowledge and experience of the relevant sport.Track Maintainer: Aspirants who have worked as trolleyman/key man or Gang man.
JE Works: Candidates should be engineering degree/diploma holder.
Clerk-Cum- Typist: Those who are conversant with computer working and preparation of bills pertaining to Typist contracts will be preferred.

Age Limit
- For 1421 posts: Age of the aspirants should not be above 62 years.
- For 79 posts: Applicants should fall between 18 to 25 years of age.
Salary
- Junior Analyst – Rs.9,300-34,800/- (PB2) + 4,600/- G.P
- Junior Chemist – Rs.9,300-34,800/- (PB2) + 4,400/- G.P
- Chemist – Rs.9,300-34,800/- (PB2) + 5,100/-G.P
- Archaeological Chemist – Rs.15,600-39,100/- (PB2) + 5,400/-G.P
