Education Qualification
Applicants should pass Class-VII or equivalent examination from any recognized institution/ Board. As mentioned in Odisha Police Notification, contenders passed H.S.C. or equivalent examination will get favoritism. Reservation for Gurkha Ex-Servicemen shall be made as per orders issued by Government of Odisha.
Applicants should be a bonafide Gurkha and an inhabitant of Nepal or India.
Women Candidates are not eligible to apply for these jobs.
Gurkha aspirant living in India must have registered his name in any of the Employment Exchanges of State prior date of advertisement for recruitment.
As per rules of institution, Gurkhas of Nepal must be in possession of valid Citizenship of Nepal.
Age limit
Minimum 18 & maximum age is 25 years.
Pay Salary
Selection Committee will give impressive amount of Rs. 5,200- 20,200/- and Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- (P.B-I).
Consolidated remuneration shall be increased by ten per cent (10%) on ending of each year of service depending on performance in institution.
Aspirants regular appointed for this Jobs are going to receive pay plus Grade Pay along with DA and other allowances as decided by Odisha Police Authority.
